meet my mentor
Along with my research mentor, Dr. Mary Beth Leibham, I am investigating the potential effects of intensive parenting on different aspects of young adult development.

We will be refining the subtopics of development as our interests narrow down.
Dr. Leibham has a Ph.D. in educational psychology and masters in developmental psychology. She is a professor at UW-Eau Claire, teaching a variety of developmental and educational psychology classes. Her other research includes academic motivation, disability studies; special education, student mental health,
classroom anxiety, and children's developing interests in math and science.
